2013 was a special and amazing year! I had the opportunity to tour the globe spreading my passion for music directly to the people through spinning. This year I feel I learned to channel the energy within and become more spiritual in my craft – we put more love into what we do rather than trying to beat what others do. This connection always brings out the best in us, because it is limitless.
One of the highlights of 2013 for me was spinning at the Red Bull BC One World Finals in Seoul, Korea. The BC One World Finals had been a goal of mine for many years and it definitely felt good to check that one off the list, performing better than I thought I would. While I didn’t get to dance as much this year as in the past due to injuries, in 2014 I will come back strong. I’m also looking forward to spreading music to new places and bringing the vibe to new people. The music is the key to what I do – the music brings us together and allows us to express ourselves. Progression is a daily thing for me – I set goals, always want to get better at my craft, pay dues for our culture, and give back to the community as much as I can. You know, we got to do what we love and spread what we love.
As I look ahead, the Pro Breaking Tour organized by UDEF should definitely help push the U.S. bboy scene forward on the competitive aspect, and it should help create more awareness to take our dance to a higher level. It is always dope and inspiring to see people making moves to turn things up a notch.

It is a blessing to have people give back to the community and try their best to bring us together. I’m excited to see how things work out for the Pro Breaking Tour!
